I study materials. Then I make them move.

Metamaterials researcher, rover and rocket builder, and animator. I turn research papers and engineering projects into things you can actually see.

Hi, I'm Hnin.

I'm a Materials Science and Engineering student at the University of Manchester. I'm most interested in metamaterials and where they're heading: quantum computing, automation, and even medicine.

Research in Motion started as a passion project the summer after my first-year exams. I love animating and reading research, so I combined the two. Now it's also where I document everything I build.
